Ricordea Mushroom Coral, also called Flower Mushroom, has an obvious flower shape and is a good addition to the mid-level zone of the aquarium. It requires a medium to high light level, but metal halide lighting may be too bright. Ricordia prefers a low water movement within the tank aquarium, it is considered semi-aggressive and requires adequate space between itself and other corals it reproduces by longitudinal fission. Normally it is ship as several individual mushroom attached to a rock or with full mushrooms.
