The red wolf fish is a dwarf variety for the wolf family from Peru and in the wild inhabits swampy areas where it attached smaller fish. In the aquarium  the red wolf fish also attacks smaller fish. Fortunately this vicious pet fish only grows to 8 inches. Possible tank mates are the sailfin pleco and maybe fast swimming bala sharks. Red wolf fish will need a supply of live feeders like small goldfish, but the fish can be trained to eat frozen food.
