Orange Toadfish
The Orange Toadfish, which also has the silly name Oyster Cracker, is one of the more unique and interesting fish available in the aquarium trade. It is a bottom dwelling predator that seeks out small fish and inverts. For this reason it is best kept in a large aquarium devoid of these small organisms. With such a large mouth and a voracious appetite, the Toadfish can make many small organisms prey. They are hardy and can handle large fluctuations in tank specs.
The Toadfish is easy to keep as long as it is kept out of the way of small organisms – if done, it will not bother corals or large fish or inverts.
