Guentheri Killifish (Pair)

Nothobranchous guentheri is an exotic killifish from Zanzibar. In the wild these fish  control mosquito populations in swampy areas. Before the dry season Guentheri killifish lay eggs in the mud and when the swamps dry and the parents die, the eggs live on until the next wet period. In the aquarium the active male will display his colors year round for the female without any fear of getting dry. Guentheri are hardy and adapt well to prepared flake and pellet aquarium food.
