Four Eyed Anablep
The four eye anablep is one of the oddest fish in the Amazon, and only imported from Guyana so this is a hard to find fish. Anableps have four eyes, one pair to see above the water, and another pair to see below. Hence, the four eye anablep generally swims along the surface to take advantage of both perspectives. These are peaceful fish, eat flake food, and prefer a little salt in the water. Anableps are live bearers and in the wild feed on surface insects and small fish.
