Yellow Tail Spiny Eel

Yellow tail spiny eels only grow to six inches and adapt well to the aquarium but these eels do require live, freeze dried, or frozen food, preferable worms. Spiny eels are shy and at first may bury themselves up to their head and just peak around until they are comfortable with their tank mates. Only the very smallest aquarium pets such as ornamental shrimp can fit in their mouths so these are good community tank fish.
