Wolf Cichlid

The wolf cichlid, or dovii cichlid, is so called for the arched back of the species that is remiscent of a wolf. These are active Central American cichlids and will be suitable with species of its own size. When these fish mature they truly look magnificent (mature fish pictured). These fish are prized large predators and can grow up to two feet. Our wolf cichlids are pond raised and when caught to shipping can vary in size from just under two inches to three inches.
