Whiptail Catfish
The whip tail catfish, also called the twig catfish, is prolific in the Amazon basin. In muddy flats this peaceful little catfish whips its tail back and forth to propel itself over one water hole to another. Shaped like a twig with subtle broad stripes the twig catfish utilizes camouflage for survival, since it isn’t much of a thinker.
