Scarlet temple is a very pretty aquarium plant similar to the temple plant but features scarlet red undertones on the elongated leaves. Also called water hedge or the red temple plant, the scarlet temple is native to Brazil slow moving shallow waters.  Scarlet temple grows slow, requires moderate light and will not tolerate Ph above 7.5. Not all bunch and stemmed plants have the same requirements and there is plenty on You tube and other sources to assist you in your planted aquarium success.
