Rotala Wallichii
There are several varieties of rotala – the most fragile and maybe the prettiest is wallichii. Rotala wallichii has feathery rust and green colored leaves and requires good lighting and will only grow in the aquarium with proper C02 and lower Ph. Native to acidic streams in Thailand, Rotala wallichii will not tolerate high Ph (over 7.5). If you don’t mind losing the plant over a few weeks, than this is an enjoyable plant for any fish tank. However, if you want this plant to thrive check your water conditions.
