Endlicheri Saddle Bichir
The endlicheri bichir, or saddle bichir, is one of the less common bichirs available from Cameroon. Like all other bichirs, the saddle bichir will eat frozen food and any live fish that fit in its mouth, but they are not nippers and get along with larger community fish. Interesting fact: Bichirs have small eyes and rely on smell to hunt in the wild.
The saddle bichir has several broad bands on the body the sort of look like saddles, hence the name.
