Ember Tetra
The ember tetra was once more commonly called the amandae tetra before the fish was successfully bred in Singapore. The amandae tetra was discovered by the famous fish finder Heiko Bleher way back in 1987 and named the tetra after his mom, Amanda. These bright red little fish make a pretty school and stand out in a planted tank with driftwood. The ember tetras are hardy and peaceful and may be kept with small species such as fancy exotic shrimp.
