The electric yellow cichlid is also called the electric yellow lab. These labs may not make the greatest hunting dogs, but they are great to look at. Solid vibrant yellow is a great contrast to the blues and reds common in African cichlids. Also a deep black highlite develops over time on well bred electric yellow cichlids.
