Dwarf Sagittaria
The dwarf sagittaria plant does not take special care but needs moderate lighting and a substrate that will allow purchase for its small starting roots. Ideally these plants will tank hold and propogate, they can form a very pretty four inch high blanket of green in the fish tank. Worst case, the dwarf sag forms a nice spot of green in the fish tank for a couple months. Sagittaria plants are found throughout the USA East Coast and South America and some varieties grow three feet, but the dwarf sag is particularly suited to aquariums.
