Double Tail Veil Betta Male
The double tail veil bettas have two caudal tails, technically one split double tail. This variation of betta splendens came on the market in the 1990s. The appeal is in the magnificent display the male makes with his back fins when courting a female or challenging another male. To see this display simply put a face mirror in front of him.
There are many names for the particular betta color patterns but most are variations of blue and/or red colors. Fish pictured here are representative only. If you are looking for a specific coloration, contact customer service or put in the notes of your order, or simply let our fish catchers pick one of our favorites for you!
