Christmas Wrasse
The Christmas Wrasse is also called the Ornate Wrasse and the Ladder Wrasse. The female Xmas Wrasse feature distinct ocelli (eye spots) on their dorsal fins. The male Xmas Wrasse have reddish stripes along a green and orange body with a U-shaped mark between the end of the anal fin and the base of the caudal fin. They have no ocelli in the dorsal fin. Wrasses are known to jump from aquariums. Be sure to have some sort of covering with no large open holes that they can escape from.
