Banded Shark Eggs
A banded shark egg will require sand as the substrate in the aquarium, as the abdomen is easily scratched by a coarser substrate. The shark egg should never be exposed to copper-based medications and once hatched the hatchling will eat any crustacean in the aquarium. The hatching time of the egg will be anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks depending on the stage of development and the environmental conditions in the aquarium. Once the Banded Shark egg hatches the fish will need some live feeder ghost shrimp to feed. Research before purchasing and enjoy the experience – hatching will occur within six weeks of arrival.
