Swordtails assorted
In the wild swordtails are found throughout Central America. The males have long extensions on the caudal fin that look like swords. This is absent in females but they tend to grow slightly larger. They are closely related to the live bearing platy and do well in community tanks. Like guppies and platies, they will breed readily in an aquarium. When we make assorted bunches we try to pack an even amount of males and females, thought the ratio may vary.
