USISYA Peacock Cichlid
The flavescent peacock cichlid (flavescent means to turn yellow) is a natural color pattern found on rocky shorelines of the Usisya Bay of Lake Malawi. Just a bit harder to breed than some other color morphs, flavescent peacock cichlids will begin with a bluish striped pattern at two inches and then begin the blue and yellow color transition at three inches. Like other peacock cichlids, USISYA flavescent peacocks are territorial and hardy and will do well with any African cichlid tank.
