Domino Damselfish

The Domino Damselfish, Snowball Damsel or Three Spot Damsel is only found around the Hawaiian Islands and Johnston Island. These territorial damsels forage among the shallows of reefs and need some rocks in the aquarium. Juveniles are black with one to three large white spots near the dorsal fin. This spot starts small on younger fish but gradually spreads as the fish matures and may cover most of the adult fish in dark-edged white scales.
