Glolite Tetra

The glowlight tetra, or glolite tetra, have a bright primarily gold strip along the body which flashes reflective light as it swims throughout the fish tank. These fish tend to swim separately then bunch when threatened, so it makes for lively action. Glowlight tetras have been in the aquarium trade for a century, truly classics. Males and females look the same.
