Starry Night Eel
The starry night eel is a completely freshwater eel with a spotted pattern like the stars in the sky. These eels are caught in slow moving streams that feed Lake Tanganyika in the Congo delta. Starry night eels are peaceful and will eat frozen foods, but they are known to eat very small tankmates if they fit in their mouth. These eels are not nippers and get along well with cichlids, rainbowfish, sailfin molly, and other fish of similar size.
