Bulgarian Seal Point Angelfish
When the Iron Curtain fell over Eastern Europe in the Cold War, aquarium hobbyists in communist countries were left to their own devises and became adept breeders. Many natural genes of wild fish were isolated. Today beautiful variations from that (hopefully) bygone era are found in the hobby today. The Bulgarian gene promotes inky black fins on a cream or koi body. Seal Point angelfish have a cream body along with the distinct solid dark fins.
