Sunburst Orange Glo Danio

The Asians created GloFish fish by splicing the genes of zebra danios and hi-fin white skirt tetras and tiger barbs  with phosphorescent corals and jellyfish. The fish were patented and licensed for sale in the USA several years ago once the FDA determined them to be safe for the environment. Though these fish do not actually glow in the dark they are truly fluorescent and will keep that bright color throughout their lifespan.

Danios are popular for beginners and expert planted tank enthusiasts. The orange on this fish is a very bright solid color and is genetic, glo fish colors never fade.
