Blue Bubble Eye Goldfish
Bubble eye goldfish are about as exotic as a goldfish gets – and least likely to survive in the wild. Originally bred in China (we still import these unusual goldfish from China), bubble eye goldfish feature large fluid filled sacs beneath the eyes. If a sac should rupture it will grow back, but please keep sharp objects and aggressive fish away from these poor creatures. Bubble eye goldfish are not good swimmers and should be kept with slower moving fish to make sure they get their food.
The sapphire or blue bubble-eye goldfish has a slight blue hue on the body, which otherwise is a charcoal color.
