Goldline Knifefish
Rare and seldom seen in the aquarium hobby, the goldline knifefish, or yellow line knife fish, is caught in the Amazon basin near the border of Colombia and Brazil. This makes for a difficult journey to the warehouses of AquariumFishSale.com! Goldline Knifefish are wild and require some live foods such as black worms or feeder white clouds, but you can transition them to frozen foods. These fish project an electric field to find their prey, but cannot generate enough power to subdue their prey the the way the electric eel does (electric eels are technically knife fish). Little is known about the goldline knifefish – it is only assumed they grow as big as black knifefish. Their temperament is similar, and these fish are compatible with fish that cannot fit in their mouth.
