Freshwater Lion Fish
The lion fish, also called the stone fish or toadfish, is an oddball from the brackish streams of Thailand. These fish have venomous fins so handle with care. Best to use containers as opposed to nets when transferring the species. With a bit of grumpy personality and unusual movement, so they are a great addition to a brackish aquarium.
The lion fish is an ambush predator and feeds on small feeder fish such as feeder goldfish, but they have been known to eat live and frozen black worms.
Observe the freshwater fish closely and be ready to treat for fungus and ajust the salt water conditions, sometimes it take some adjustments in the water conditions to dial in the right environment.
